Kindergarten Collage

Kindergarten has done lots with drawing and cutting shapes, and I wanted to introduce them to a variety of media.  This time around, instead of only using construction paper, we used wallpaper, magazine, construction paper and tissue paper.  We discussed texture, shape and size and made a silly hamburger collage.  The student's LOVED imagining what gross food item they could put on their burger.  They cut out shapes and glued them together, we used colors often found in fast food, reminding them of the colorful signs and logos of the companies.
